Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children Deprived of Parental Care (BSFCDPC) together with Ruse Municipality and with the support of the Corporate Commercial Bank organized on April 30, 2014 in Ruse a sports festival with the participation of more than 187 children from 11 Institutions for children at risk in North-East Bulgaria under the motto SPORT ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERY CHILD. The event is part of the annual sports calendar of BSFCDPC.
The competition was opened by Mr. Sasho Shterev – Chief of Youth Activities and Sport Department at Ruse Municipality and Mr. Veselin Bogdanov – Director of Sports Estates Municipal Enterprise. The participants competed in 4 sports – basketball 3 x 3, table tennis, athletics and mini football.
The children from the Social Center for Education and Career in Ovcha Mogila became winners in the final complex ranking, and they were given prizes by Mr. Evgeni Ignatov – the Chairman of Dunav Sports Athletics Club and Mr. Lyubomir Kovachev – the Chairman of Big Heart Club, Ruse. The children also joined in the Traditional Spring Fair, organized by the Union of Hoteliers and Restaurateurs with Chairman Mr. Krasimir Ivanchev, which provided candies for the participants.
